The Freedom Principle

Yesterday an amazing new exhibit opened at the Museum of Contemporary Art called "The Freedom Principle" . When I received an email about it a couple weeks ago, I knew I had to see it. I didn't know much about it apart from the fact that it involved African American art and music. I was simply blown away upon my arrival to the exhibit. It was, for lack of a better term, so cool. Every corner or room of the exhibit was inspiring. It made me wish I would have learned to play an instrument or paid more attention in all my art classes. The exhibit can be seen until November 22nd, and I believe it is a must see for anyone (yes, even those who have no interest in art).

Afterwards I decided to stop at the gift shop which is never a bad idea. The MCA store is just amazing. It is just heaven for any individual like me who is obsessed with coffee table books and little knick knacks. So if you're in the museum, create some time in your schedule to browse the shop, there's a lot to see.
