Style Guide: Milan Street Style

With “Fashion Month” coming to an end, we are now taking our eyes off of the runway styles and focusing on the equally as captivating street styles! During Fashion Week, whether it be in NY, Milan, or Paris, the streets are crowded with fashionable photographers, bloggers, and models. Some of these individuals are not even there to attend shows, but instead to either show off their own unique style or to photograph/see what is trending on the streets.

Milan Fashion Week occurred during the week of February 22nd, and we are still hearing about the stunning styles exhibited during this week. In this post, we will put the spotlight on our favorite Milan Street Styles!

Gucci is becoming more and more trendy as we see celebrities and fashion icons such as Kylie Jenner and A$AP Rocky decked out in it. Since Gucci can sometimes be a little over the top, especially for street style, many Milan fashionista’s/fashionisto’s chose to choose Gucci accessories or staple clothing items that were sure to catch the eye.

To keep warm while on the streets, over-the-top coats with interesting details were often seen on the streets of Milan. These coats are perfect to keep warm while showing individual style.

My personal favorite...suits on women! This is a bold move, but the ladies of Milan Fashion Week (Street Style Edition) absolutely rocked funky suits.

The pattern of my childhood, Leopard Print, is making a major comeback. This print is young, wild, and most of all- FUN. It was worn in a variety of different ways, whether it was leopard print shoes, trousers, or a coat. What surprised me most was how many of the leopard print items were worn with unconventional and mismatching prints. This is a trend of its own, ie; stripes/leopard print, plaid/leopard print.

Milan Street Style was especially enticing this year. Fashion guru’s lined the streets of Milan rocking the boldest prints, colors, and trends. Until next year, Milan!
