3 Easy Looks With 1 Cute Top
I think we can all agree that shopping is fun. However, I feel like we all suffer from the same problem; we buy an item, wear it once, forget about it, then it gets lost in the back of our closet until a roommate or sibling finds it (leading to an inevitable argument). I have noticed that the main cause of my issue is that I simply forget about the versatility of my garments. In other words, I'm a lazy dresser and usually put together the easiest outfit which gets boring very fast. I've started working on the issue of the "back of the closet" garment and I'm finding that it's actually pretty fun figuring out what do with these garments. I was so inspired by the process that I decided to create a post on it.
I decided to use this cute summer top from H&M. As much as I love this top I must admit it is a 'back of closet' item. Although is a beautiful, it is also a basic that could simply be forgotten, which is why it is perfect for this post. I have created three easy looks featuring the top and my lovely friend Maggie(AKA Magdalena, AKA Daddy Long Legs) agreed to model these amazing looks.
This look is the easiest and probably takes the least amount of effort. For this look you will need the following: a dress. Yep, that's all it takes. This look is styled with sneakers however, it can be styled with sandals, wedges, ankle boots... the options are limitless.
Look 2 is for the hot and humid days when you want to show off a little extra skin. Style the top with bright high wasted shorts, your favorite sunnies and you're all set.
Look 3 is probably my favorites because I love the combination of wide leg pants and a platform. This look is finished with a red lip and a matching shoulder bag.
