Fruity Pebble Pancakes: Your Favorite Cereal Reinvented

Growing up my favorite breakfast was a big bowl of cereal and milk, and if I’m being completely honest I still spend some Saturday mornings watching Powerpuff Girls and chowing down on a bowl of Fruity Pebbles.  That said, as an adult, I’ve decided I need to learn how to make a breakfast that has more than two ingredients. So I created a recipe that has 3 ingredients, including cereal and milk. I think breakfast should be a fun start to your day, and what’s more fun than Fruity Pebble pancakes? These nostalgic flapjacks are not only simple to make, but they might just be my new favorite breakfast. (and they most certainly pair well with your favorite Saturday morning cartoons). Continue below for this yummy recipe!

Directions:

  1. Mix pancake mix and milk to create the batter, carefully fold in fruity pebbles in order to avoid crushing the pebbles and discoloring the batter.

  2. Let batter sit for 5 minutes in so it can settle, this will make the pancakes fluffier.
